Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Retail Leasing for shopping centers across the U.S. at Insignia Financial Group, Ltd. and managing commercial and luxury residential Co-Ops and Condos in New York City at M.J. Raynes, Inc., and the Donald Zucker Company.

With extensive international real estate experience in Asia and Europe and a working knowledge of Japanese and Latin cultures having lived in Japan and Colombia, I provide clients long-term solutions and generate strategic partnerships for business growth in global markets.   

A track record in driving expansion of brands and opportunities in global markets. Co-brokered the 2019 opening of Le Café Alain Ducasse in Paris, France. Coordinated the international licensing expansion of two-star Michelin-rated Aquavit NY with WDI Co., Ltd. for Aquavit Tokyo, opened 2008. Conceived and coordinated strategic alliances for Sage Capital Global Japan significantly extending their investments in Japan’s public and private sectors. Negotiated a long-term specialty vintage clothing supply partnership between Melet Mercantile and United Arrows Ltd., a Japan-based luxury retailer, and more. I continue to advise and assist clients in securing retail and commercial opportunities internationally.

As an advisor to growing companies, I serve start-ups on market entry strategy and fundraising in the areas of green building, food & beverage, and technology. Companies I have advised include Pythagoras Solar, makers of a photovoltaic glass unit and winner of the 2011 GE Ecomagination Challenge Award; Cognition AI technology (now owned by Nuance); Atmospheir’s secure virtual network; ZUUL, NYC’s original ghost kitchen; sustainable energy and architecture firm, Beautiful Earth Group; Mission Marseille, a strategic tourism initiative with the French Mediterranean city including producing a video for Made In Marseille promoting women in sport; and Marfa Film Festival.
